With the self-adhesive tarp tape from Swedish Hippo Outdoor, you can repair and reinforce your tarp so that it lasts longer. The tarp tape can be used to repair small tears that have occurred in the tarp and to reinforce ot's vulnerable areas to prevent wear and tear damage.
Extend the life of the tarpaulin
The self-adhesive reinforcement tape attaches to all tarp and is an easy way to prevent damage and extend the life of your tarpaulin. All models are UV-resistant and can withstand temperatures from -25 °C degrees to +65 °C degrees.
Choose between 3 different designs
The reinforcement tape is available in three different versions: a 5-pack of large round patches, a 10-pack of square reinforcement patches for eyelets, and a 1-pack with a 5 metre long and 10 cm wide roll.

Put a reinforcement patch where the tarp is likely to be chafed or worn. Attach an eyelet patch to the eyelets to increase the load-bearing capacity or use the tarp tape on a roll to repair small tears.

Repair of minor tears
The reinforcement tape can be used to repair small tears in the tarp. It is important when repairing to put tape on both sides of the tarp and to use larger pieces of tape than the size of the tear.
Application of tarp tape
Clean and dry the surface where you are going to put the reinforcement tape. Press the tape firmly against the tarp and allow the adhesive to work. The strong adhesive starts to harden after only 3-4 minutes and has reached optimum adhesion after about 24 hours. The tarp tape now protects your trap and prevents it from tearing in exposed places.
