- Easy to use

With a soil moisture meter, you can check how moist the soil is and make sure you don't overwater your plants. Insert the soil moisture meter into the soil and read the meter. The moisture sensor quickly detects how moist the soil is and the meter makes it easy to see if you need to water the plant or not.
The soil moisture meter is very useful for pots, flower beds and sensitive plants in the garden. If the soil is dry, it can sometimes be tricky to know if it's just on the surface that the moisture has evaporated or if the soil is also dry further down.
How do I use the soil moisture meter?
Insert the needle about 3/4 into the depth of the pot and read the meter. The meter is rated between 1-10, 1 is dry and 10 is damp. After reading the meter, remove the moisture sensor and water the plant as needed. Then you can measure the soil moisture in the next pot.
Wipe the needle between each pot so that there is no moist soil left on the needle that could cause it to measure incorrectly in the next pot. The soil moisture meter should not be left in the soil.
The soil moisture meter does not need batteries and you can use it as soon as you unpack it.
