These reusable leather sheathing covers protect your sails from damage when they flap into the sheathing stays. The shrouds fit over the sheathing mounts and are available in three different models to fit three different types of sheathing stays.

The durable chafe guards prevent the sail from catching or scratching as it flaps into the various mounts, grommets or vang screws of the sheathing. The leather covers are gentle on sails, reels and lines and also prevent you or your crew from getting stuck or damaging your clothes if you accidentally walk into the sheathing stays.

Each pack contains two grey leather covers with punched holes. You sew on the leather covers with the provided pins and the durable, waxed polyester thread that you thread through the punched holes. You also get instructions on how to easily sew the covers on.

They can be reused and sewn back on, for example, after removing the mantle during winter storage.

There are 3 types of protection. Choose between:
Shaft guard for wire rope sheathing.
Shaft guard for manta ray with parafill line.
Shaft guard for through pole.

OBS! Double leather protectors are used on the end piece with a vice.
