Due to its water-resistant properties, Casco Rubberfix is particularly suitable for resisting rain, puddles and moisture. However, please note that it is not suitable for PP and PE plastics.Drying and curing time
Drying takes only 10-30 minutes, and after about 48 hours your repair is cured and ready to be used again. Please note that the curing time may vary depending on the surface, humidity level and ambient temperature, among other factors. The repair sealant provides a transparent adhesive joint.Things to consider
Do not use Casco Rubberfix at temperatures below +5°C or at extremely low relative humidity (once hardened, it is temperature resistant between -40°C to +120°C). Remember that the surface being repaired needs to be clean, dry and free of grease. How to do it
Repair can be done from both the inside and outside. Roughen the material with the abrasive paper provided. Cover the surface (at least 2 mm) and spread the paste. To repair shoes/rubber boots: cover the surface with a thin layer (max. 1 mm) and press a polyester patch (minimum width 2.5 cm) into the paste using the spatula. Spread the paste on both the piece of polyester and the area around it. Immediately remove any stains with acetone.Specifications
