With FabPatch self-adhesive patches, you can quickly repair small holes and tears in your clothes without sewing or ironing. The FabPatch patches work like small clothing plasters that you simply rub over the hole. The patches are easy to use and can cover, decorate and repair clothes and textiles made of many different materials.
Use as decoration or as invisible clothing plasters
FabPatch is available in several colours and patterns and is designed to be a fun decorative element on your clothes. The patches are quick and easy to apply. You can either attach them to the outside or to the inside of your clothes if you don't want them to be visible.
Suitable garments to repair
The patches can be attached to most clothes you wear both indoors and outdoors including cardigans, tracksuit bottoms, shoes, boots, backpacks, bags, and other textiles. The patches can be attached to both elastic and rigid garments as well as many types of underwear.
Less suitable garments to repair
FabPatch is less likely to stick to clothes and textiles that are coated or contain a lot of chemicals or fabric softeners.
How to attach the FabPatch
The patches are sold in a 5-pack of three different sizes. The larger patches can be cut to the desired size with scissors. The smallest patch is suitable for small holes and for use as reinforcement on the back of larger holes.
Remove a piece of the protective paper and measure the patch over the hole. Avoid touching the adhesive surface. Remove the remaining protective tape and place the FabPatch over the hole. Then rub the patch hard, for example with a spoon, for about 1-2 minutes.
Machine washable
Allow the adhesive to set for at least three days before stretching or washing the garment for the first time. After that, you can wash the clothes in the washing machine at a maximum of 40 degrees and they can be ironed and tumble dried. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, washing vinegar or gall soap.
How long does the FabPatch last?
It is not possible to give an exact figure on how many washes the FabPatch can handle. It depends entirely on the material of the garment. Ideally, the patch will last for several years and, if used properly, it should at least last several washes without coming off.
Good to know
It is relatively common for the edges of the patch to wrinkle. This is perfectly natural and when it happens you can trim the edges with sharp scissors, or try to iron them back. The patterns of the patterned patches vary from piece to piece. Store unused patches in a dark place and in a closed bag.
FabPatch is available in several colours
FabPatch clothing patches are available in black, denim and green camouflage colours. The patches are delivered in a 5-pack with three different sizes. Please note that the sizes between the different colours are slightly different.
