Starfish Hair Trap

This five-armed hair trap prevents hairs from going down the drain when you shower in the bathtub. The starfish-shaped hair trap fits over most normal-sized bath drains and attaches with five strong suction cups.

The suction cups are placed at the far end of each arm, and hold the hair trap against the bathtub surface. The hair trap closes tightly around the plughole and the small holes on the top catch hairs that would otherwise flow down the drain with the water.

When you want to have a bath, simply loosen the hair trap and insert the bathtub plug. When you have finished bathing, press the suction cups again, and the hair trap filters the water when you drain the bath.

The hair trap mainly fits over the drain in the bathtub, but can also be used for smaller floor drains, in showers and shower enclosures, which have a maximum drain diameter of about 11 cm.

The hair trap is made of durable silicone and is designed by Sung Wook Park. The starfish shape is inspired by the starfish's ability to cling to different surfaces.
