- Low start temperature, even works in soapstone ovens
- Speeds up heating, reduces fuel consumption
- Heat-powered and quiet
The stove fan Sunwind Airflow 909 is a very efficient stove fan that helps to distribute the heat from your stove to the rest of the room. The stove fan makes the heating from your heat source more efficient. It is faster to heat the house when you start the stove and the even heat distribution also helps reduce fuel consumption in the long run.
Operation
The stove fan is powered by the heat generated from the stove and can already start working at around 48 ºC. The fan is quiet and effectively pushes the hot air from the stove into the rest of the room.
Positioning the stove fan
The stove fan can be used on wood-burning and other fuel stoves. For the best heat dispersion, the fan should be placed at the back, on top of the stove and directed outwards towards the room. The optimal working temperature for the fan is between about 48 ºC and 345 ºC degrees. The low starting temperature means that the stove fan also works well with a soapstone stove.
Works between 48 ºC-345 ºC degrees
If the heat exceeds 345 ºC, move or remove the stove fan from the stove. It is recommended to use a thermometer on the stove and make sure that the stove fan is used within the optimal temperature range.
NOTE! The stove fan gets hot during use. Always wear protective gloves when handling the stove fan and ensure that it is out of reach of children.
The stove fan requires no maintenance but can be wiped off with a dry cloth if necessary.
