- Real-time display of electricity price
- Colur-coded LEDs for quick overview
- Can be used both as a desk clock and a wall clock
EcoWatch Ida is a compact wall and desk clock that gives you full control of the electricity price in real time. With the help of colour-coded LEDs, you get a clear overview of the current hour and the next 11 hours of electricity prices. Perfect for households that want to optimise energy consumption and plan their electricity use. The electricity price watch has a stylish frame, glass front and a silent, sweeping clockwork.
Real-time display of electricity price
EcoWatch gives you access to four different display options that help you optimise your energy use. You can choose to see the daily average, the calculated average, the number of hours and or your own choice. The daily average view identifies the hours of the day when electricity prices are highest and lowest, while the extended average looks at price variations over the last 2 to 7 days for a more comprehensive analysis. The self-selection option allows you to define your own price limits in your preferred currency, such as EUR, SEK, NOK or DKK. In the hours view, you select a number of hours, while the clock marks the most cost-effective periods of the day based on your selection. You also have the option to change the colour and brightness of the LEDs, schedule when the clock will be active and integrate it with your smart home through Shelly devices or via the MQTT API. The customisable settings make it easy to tailor the clock's operation to your household's needs and power consumption.Compatible with several electricity markets
EcoWatch works in several European electricity areas, including Sweden (SE1-SE4), Norway (NO1-NO5), Denmark (DK1-DK2), Finland as well as Germany, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Through the accompanying web application, the user can choose between six different languages and customise the LEDs of the watch according to their own requirements, such as adjusting the brightness and colour scheme.Smart integrations
For those who want to connect their watch to a smart home, EcoWatch is compatible with Shelly devices generation 2 and 3. This makes it possible to automate, for example, lighting and heating based on the electricity price, further optimising your electricity consumption. Firmware updates are continuously released to ensure that the watch always has the latest features. How to use
Place the watch on a desk, shelf or bedside table and connect the included USB cable to power the LEDs. To power the movement itself, insert an AA battery. The watch is ready to use immediately after installation and can be easily configured via its web application, which allows you to customise the display mode and display schedules (click here to see the corresponding installation guide via web application). If you decide to use it as a wall clock, you can easily mount it on the wall using the built-in brackets.
Once the clock is installed and you need to adjust the settings, you have two options. You can either open a web browser and enter the local IP address of the watch, e.g. http://192.168.x.xxx, to access the settings menu (during installation, you will be asked to register your email address, which will ensure that the IP address of the watch is sent to you. The second option is to use the "reset" button on the back of the watch. Pressing it resets the device to the factory settings, making it easy to perform a new installation from the beginning.
Compact design
EcoWatch Ida has the same functionality as EcoWatch Julia but has a smaller diameter, which means that it has one LED per hour unlike Julia which has four. The smaller size makes it perfect for use as a table clock in the home, office or any other environment where a compact and discreet clock is appropriate. Thanks to its stable design, it can stand firmly on a desk, shelf or bedside table and provide a clear view of electricity prices in real time. For those who prefer a wall-mounted solution, it also works excellently as a wall clock and can easily be set up with the inbuilt brackets. The smaller size makes it suitable for spaces where the larger Ecowatch Julia does not fit.
