The FabPatch Reflective patches allow you to easily repair small holes in your clothes, while the reflective surface makes you more visible in the dark. The self-adhesive patches work like small clothing patches and can be quickly rubbed over holes and tears in your clothes without the need for sewing or ironing. FabPatch Reflective is sold in a 4-pack with 2 reflective patches in silver-coloured reflective fabric and 2 patches in black reflective fabric.

Easy to attach to clothing and textiles

The self-adhesive patches are easy to attach as you simply rub them directly onto the garment. You can use them to mend most clothes whether for indoor or outdoor use. The patches are soft but quite stiff, so they are not suitable for use on textiles that are extremely stretchy.

Reflective surface

As well as patching up torn clothing, the patches are also great reflective details to wear on your jacket, rucksack or trousers. The reflective surface reflects headlights and makes you a little more visible in the dark.

Application of the FabPatch reflective layer patch

Peel off a small piece of the protective paper and lay the patch in place against the garment. Remove the rest of the protective paper and place the entire patch in place. Avoid touching the adhesive surface. Finalise the repair by using a spoon and rubbing hard on the patch for about 1-2 minutes. For larger holes, you can reinforce the patch by putting one of the smaller patches on the inside.

Machine washable at 40 degrees

The patch should be allowed to set for 3 days before stretching or washing the garment for the first time. Then you can wash the patch with the garment in the washing machine at 40°C maximum. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, vinegar or gall soap. The patches can also be ironed and tumble dried. Please note that the reflective surface weakens with each wash.

Sustainability

Depending on the material to which you attach the patches, they can ideally remain on the garment for several years. However, patches are less durable on clothes that contain chemicals, fabric softeners or have a surface coating, but in many cases they will still last for several washes.

After a period of use, the edges may become a little wrinkled. This is completely natural and you can either try to push them down and iron them back into place or trim the edges with scissors.

The reflective patches are sold in a 4-pack containing two smaller patches and two larger patches in silver and black reflective fabric. The large patches can be cut to the desired size if necessary.
