- Turn crown mouldings the right way around on the ceiling
- Fix crown mouldings when you saw
- Suitable for crown mouldings between 33-69 mm
Listjiggen is a Swedish innovation that allows you to saw crown mouldings the right way up, so they are against the ceiling. You don’t need to turn the crown mouldings over to cut them. You can simply saw the inner corner and outer corner without moving the moulding so it fits perfectly.
Listjiggen is designed to be used mainly with conventional neck moulding and gooseneck moulding. The size fits mitre saws, saws and mitre boxes and allows you to use Listjiggen with crown mouldings measuring 33 mm to 69 mm wide. Listjiggen's moving part helps to fix the crown moulding to keep it still when you saw.
How to use Listjiggen Crown Moulding Tool
Put the crown moulding in Listjiggen and fix it in place with the corresponding part. Turn the mitre saw to a 45° angle in the direction you want to cut. Saw the moulding and mount it on the ceiling.
You only need to keep track of whether you need to make a right or left cut, regardless of whether it's an inner or outer corner you want to saw.
Tage Norén
Listjiggen is designed by Tage Norén who worked for RISE SMP Swedish Maskinprovning AB for many years. Tage has evaluated products and has designed equipment to evaluate products.
When Tage was putting up crown mouldings at home he realised (like so many other people) that it's difficult to measure and saw the moulding to the correct size. Tage decided to develop a tool that made it easy to mount crown mouldings.
Tage's creativity and years of experience and designing solutions using a computer helped him quickly create a 3D prototype. The Vännäs workshop helped him print out the prototype. After a few careful adjustments, Listjiggen was ready and could be made by Ågren's mechanics in Strömsund.
