- Makes it easy to get bulbs out of spotlights
- Fits bulbs with flat head
- Ideal for recessed spotlights
A bulb changer is a handy little tool that makes it easy to replace the bulbs in recessed spotlights. The suction cup provides you with a good grip on the bulb, making it easier to pull out and change the spotlight in ceilings, kitchens, bathroom cabinets and other fittings where it is difficult to reach with your fingers.
The bulb changer from the German company Wolfcraft can be used for spotlights and lamps with a flat head, such as GU10 lamps. NOTE! The bulb changer does not attach to bulbs with frosted glass on the head – the glass must be completely smooth for the suction plug to attach.
How to change a spotlight bulb
Push the bulb changer suction cup onto the lamp head and turn the handle straight. You can then easily pull out the bulb from the recessed spotlight.
Tips if you can't get the spotlight
Some spotlights, e.g. GU10 lamps, tend to turn in place. Try turning the spotlight anticlockwise and then pulling out the recessed lamp.
Make sure the bulb has time to cool down before using the suction plug. If the suction plug becomes dusty or dirty, rinse it under running water to restore its grip.
