These clever silicone food lid keeps fruit and vegetable halves fresh for longer. The stretchy lids protect against oxygen, moisture and smells and are an environmentally friendly alternative to cling film and plastic bags.
The food lids are round and fit most kinds of fruits and vegetables up to 11 cm in diameter (great for peppers, too!). Store your food with the lid over the cut surface, with the silicone close against the food product. The lid protects the juices in the cut are and prevents half-eaten tomatoes, onions and cucumbers from becoming dry or gooey along the cut edge when stored in the fridge
The bigger lids can even be used for cans, glass jars and small bowls to keep those crushed tomatoes, pickles and chopped onions fresh. Opened soft drink cans can also survive a little longer thanks to the food lid.
The food lids are made of 100% food grade silicone and are completely free from BPA and phthalate. They can be frozen, microwaved and washed in the dishwasher as well as reused over and over again.
