Bee’s Wrap Vegan is a 100% plant-based and reusable food foil that you can wrap food in or use as a lid over bowls. The wax cloth was developed by the American company Bee’s Wrap and is a vegan alternative to the popular beeswax cloths.
The reusable wax cloth is used to protect and package fruit, vegetables and other raw materials. The wax cloth is only made from natural and organic products and is a sustainable, environmentally smart and degradable alternative to clingfilm.
How do I use the oil cloth?
With the help of the heat from your hands, the wax softens and makes the cloth malleable. This allows you to easily shape the cloth to fit the edges of the bowl or the raw material. Wrap half an onion or avocado or place the wax cloth over a bowl. When you let the wax cloth go or place the package in the fridge, the paper solidifies and retains its shape so that it becomes a protective layer around the raw material or over the bowl.
What should I not use the oil cloth for?
Bee’s Wrap Vegan is not suitable for use in storing fish or raw meat.
How is the vegan wax cloth different from the beeswax cloth?
Really, it isn't. The only difference is that the vegan variant is made from 100% plant-based products instead of beeswax.
Choose between two different models
The vegan oilcloth is available in two different models. Choose between sandwich paper (1-pack), and a 3-pack with three different sizes (S / M / L).

The package contains a piece of wax paper with a small wooden button. Just big enough to wrap your sandwich for lunch or for a trip. Make the sandwich, fold in the edges of the oil cloth and spin the string around the wooden button so the sandwich stays in place.

The package contains 3 wax cloths in three different sizes. The wax cloths are practical for wrapping bread, vegetables, fruit, herbs and pastries in or for using as lids for bowls.

Cleaning and storage
If you take care of your oil cloth properly, you can reuse it for up to a year. If it is slightly dirty, you can rinse it in cold water. If necessary, you can use a gentle hand dishwashing detergent and gently rub away the dirt with your hands.
Then dry the oil cloth over a drying rack. The wax cloth should be stored in a cool, dry and clean place.
Important! Do not expose the oil cloth to hot water and do not store it in sunlight or over a radiator. The wax can melt from heat.
Stains?
It is natural for raw foods such as red peppers to stain the wax paper after a period of use. This indicates a job well done and gives the oil cloth a unique patina.
