This cosy wooden advent calendar house has 24 backlit boxes to put small Christmas gifts in. Opening a new box in the Christmas calendar every morning is exciting for both children and adults and makes for an exciting Christmas treat from 1 December right up until Christmas Eve morning.
The Advent calendar house has 24 pull-out wooden boxes measuring 4.9 cm x 5 cm x 3.8 cm. The small boxes can be filled with fun surprises, tasty Christmas treats and other smaller Advent gifts that are fun to receive every morning.
Each box also has a small LED light that creates a cosy Christmas atmosphere with its warm white light. The lighting in the Christmas calendar house is battery-operated, making it easy to place the advent calendar wherever you want.
Lighting with timer
With the button on the back, you choose whether the lights should be constantly on, or on timer mode where the lights turn on and off automatically. The repeating 6/18-hour timer keeps the lights on for 6 hours after you turn on the timer mode. Then the lights are off for 18 hours and turn themselves back on the next day.Turn on the timer early in the morning on December 1. The Advent House will now light itself and shine with a cosy and expectant glow to wake up to every morning until Christmas.
Tips on things to put in your advent calendar
If the advent calendar is for a child, you can put in small toys, beads and other crafts. At the weekend, you might even want to add some tasty Christmas sweets.
