- Easy-to-use battery tester
- For disposable and reusable batteries
- Works with many different types of small batteries
Easy-to-use battery tester that quickly shows the battery power of your small batteries. The battery tester can test both disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries and makes it easy to see when a battery needs to be charged or replaced.
Works with the most common battery types
With the battery tester, you can test the common types of batteries that are usually found in the home. You can test AAA batteries, AA batteries, C batteries, D batteries, 9V batteries and 1.5 V button cell batteries, among others.
How to test a battery
To test one battery at a time, insert it into the appropriate battery compartment in the battery tester. Make sure the polarity is correct. When the battery is properly inserted in the battery tester, you can look at the display to see the battery's status.
Works with alkaline, manganese, silver oxide and rechargeable batteries
The display has two meters. The upper meter is for alkaline, manganese and silver oxide batteries.
The lower meter is for rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd / Ni-MH). If the meter displays green, the battery is fine, if the meter shows yellow, the battery is weak. If the meter shows red, the battery is not functional and needs to be replaced or recharged.
Important to know
Do not test damaged or leaking batteries. Avoid shaking the battery tester as this may damage the meter. Remove the battery from the battery tester when you have finished testing. Only clean the tester with a dry cloth.
