- Automatically lights up at dusk
- Easy to stick in the ground
- Shines like a burning torch
With the solar-powered garden torch you can light up the garden path, the lawn, or the alcove with a really cosy glow that looks like a burning torch. The solar-powered garden torch is easy to stick in the ground, and when darkness comes the lamp is lit automatically and shines with its naturally looking glow.
The solar panel is located on the topside and is charged by the sun during the day. When dusk falls, the sensor will automatically light up the lamp inside the torch. The lamp has small LED-diodes that lights up and is turned off in sequences, which makes it look like there is a real torch burning through the frosty glass.
What do I need to do before I can put out my garden torch?
Unscrew the top part of the lamp and remove the protective plastic in front of the battery. The garden torch has no on/off button and is ready to be used as soon as the protection is removed.
Placement
Place the garden torch where the solar panel will get as much sunlight as possible during the bright hours of the day and is not overshadowed by nearby trees or plants. Before first time use, the battery needs to be charged in direct sunlight for approx. 36 hours before it can reach maximal power. This can take a couple of days depending on weather and placement. A fully charged battery gives approx. 5 hours of light.
During the winter seasons and when the temperatures outside reach degrees below zero, keep the torches indoors.
Charge the battery every third month to maintain full effect until the next time you put out your torch again.
