Soapstone ice cubes store cold or generate heat quickly and therefore cool easily without diluting the drink as the cubes do not melt. Soapstone is a soft rock that does not scratch glass and the ice cubes can be used over and over again.

They are easy to store in the freezer for quick cooling. If you want to heat or keep warm using the stones instead, put them in the microwave to heat up before plunging them into the hot drink.
