- Enjoy grilled sausages after the sauna
- Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside
- Made from heat-resistant soapstone.
With Hukka Design's heat-resistant soapstone sausage tube, you can grill sausages directly on the sauna heater. Cooking sauna sausages is an old Finnish tradition and the freshly grilled sauna sausage is often enjoyed with mustard and a cold drink after the sauna.
Preparation of sauna sausages
Place a sausage in the sausage tube and then place the sausage tube on the sauna heater. The sausage is cooked inside the sausage tube and after about 15-20 minutes you will have a juicy sausage with a crispy exterior. A tip is to preheat the sausage tube on the heater. When the sausage tube is already hot, the cooking time is shorter, about 10-15 minutes.Once the sauna sausage is ready
Lift the sausage tube with oven mitts and place it on a heat-resistant surface. The slot on one end is to make it easier for you to pull out the sausage, for example with a fork. Insert a new sausage into the tube and place the sausage tube back on the unit. Make sure the opening is facing upwards to avoid grease from the sausage running down onto the unit.Finnish design
