- Inflates automatically
- Practical and easy to wear
- Can also be activated manually
The Quicksave belt is a Swedish-designed lifebelt that automatically inflates if you fall in the water. The belt is comfortable and practical to wear and it is the perfect accessory for any kind of activity where you are at risk of involuntarily ending up in the water.
Should you fall into the water, the built-in carbon cartridge will activate in three seconds and quickly inflates the lifebelt, turning it into a float with high buoyancy. Fully inflated, the lifebelt has a buoyancy of 50 Newton, the same buoyancy as a regular life jacket.
You can also activate the belt manually by pulling the string with the red handle at the end. Depending on the activity, you can choose if you want the lifebelt to be inflated manually or automatically. The lifebelt is 160 cm long and can also be used as an extended arm if you need to pull someone up onto the ice or onto a boat or jetty.
The lifebelt is just the ticket when you are out fishing, ice-skating or snow-scootering on frozen water. The lifebelt weighs a mere 500 grams and the float is made of strong and durable nylon.
Once the lifebelt has been activated, the carbon cartridge needs to be changed. It is easy to reset the lifebelt by inserting a new carbon cartridge and the belt is ready to use again within minutes. To ensure that the lifebelt functions properly, the carbon cartridge should be exchanged once a year whether the belt has been activated or not.
The lifebelt was developed by the innovator Åsa Magnusson and the company Quicksave. Quicksave has developed several life-saving devices. All the devices are manufactured in Sweden and fulfil the strict Swedish and international requirements for lifesaving equipment.
Note: The lifebelt is dispatched in unsorted colours: blue or black.
