The travel alarm from Cavius is the perfect little multi-alarm, ideal to bring along when travelling. The travel alarm has an inbuilt smoke detector, a motion alarm that can be used for the luggage or the door and a loud assault alarm.
All functions are controlled by the small button on top of the alarm. By pressing down the button for two seconds, you easily turn on the assault alarm when you feel threatened. The assault alarm makes a noise at 90 dB and a red LED light will indicate that the alarm is making a sound. The small size makes it easy to carry around in your pocket.
If you press the button two times in a row, you will activate the smoke detector and can use the travel alarm as an additional fire detector to the one that already should exist in the room. A yellow LED light will indicate that the smoke detector is turned on. Press an additional two times to turn off the smoke detector.
Press the button rapidly three times to activate the motion alarm. The motion alarm is very effective to use if you want the door to stay shut, or to make sure no one steals your bag at the airport. When the travel alarm is activated it blinks with a green LED light, and if the travel alarm were to move, a 90 dB loud signal will catch your attention.
The motion alarm can be used combined with the smoke detector, so you have both an extra fire detector and an activated door alarm. The package comes with a snap-link, so you easily can attach the alarm to your bag, hang it on a hook or a door in the room.
The travel alarm is powered by 1 AA battery (included) and has a battery time of about 5 years with normal usage.
