- Insulates against wind and cold
- Velcro straps and drawstring closure
- 4 cm thick ground insulation
With this winter cover, you can wrap your outdoor pot in an insulating material that protects both the plant and the pot from wind and cold.
The winter cover is ideal to use around potted plants that usually stand outdoors in the winter, but which may need a little extra help to keep warm. The all-round insulation means that the roots do not freeze as easily, and improves the chances of the plant surviving the winter.
The winter cover has a base plate in Styrofoam that prevents the cold from creeping up from below, and provides good insulation against cold balconies and balcony floors. The bubble wrap-like insulating sides are closed with Velcro. Finally, tightening the drawstring ensures that the soil and the pot are also better protected from the top.
The cover is also great for putting around larger pots that you store on the balcony, terrace and in the conservatory. Cover the pot in the insulation and place it against the house wall, where it can get heat from the house and some protection from the rain. This increases the chances that the pot will not crack and break due to the winter cold. NOTE! Sensitive pots should always be taken indoors during the winter.
The winter cover is 45 cm in diameter, with sides 50 cm high. The 4 cm thick Styrofoam plate is divided into four smaller parts.
