- Quick to attach and detach
- Takes up little space on the patio
- Easy to move - weighs only 2.5 kg
The parasol base is innovative and Swedish-made. It’s easy to move and can be quickly mounted on a wooden terrace or deck. The parasol foot weighs only 2.5 kg and is mounted between wooden planks in just a few seconds.
The parasol base is easy to mount on a wooden deck and is very stable after it’s been screwed into place. The small base sticking up takes up little space at the table and you don't have to roll heavy parasol bases around if you must move the parasol. Just unscrew it and you can take it down to the dock, for example.
Mounting the parasol base
Unscrew the screws on the base and insert the crossbar between the planks. Turn the crossbar 90 degrees and screw the base down again so that the round fastening plate locks it into the patio. You can use the detachable handle on the side for extra power.
When the parasol base is attached to the terrace, place the parasol in the pipe and screw it on with the two clamps on the side.
Check before attaching the parasol base
Make sure there is enough space between the planks and check that the wood is firmly attached to the base. The parasol foot fits planks that are between approximately 1.5 cm to 6.5 cm thick. There needs to be at least a 5 mm gap between the planks. The crossbeam must not be twisted or bent.
Bring in the parasol base during the winter
The parasol base is rust-proofed (by anodising) but is not stainless. Therefore, the parasol base should be stored indoors during the winter. Be sure to lubricate the screws when you remove the base so that it will still be easy to open and attach the foot.
