Microwave chocolate melter

With this smart chocolate melter, you can melt chocolate and butter or heat gravies in the microwave. The chocolate melter is made of food-grade silicone and has a pouring spout that makes it easy to drizzle the melted chocolate over baked goods or into a praline mould.

The chocolate melter is easy to use when you need chocolate or butter for baking and cooking. You don't need to arrange a hot water bath or use the stove, but can instead place the chocolate melter in the microwave to melt chocolate or butter.

Melted chocolate in the microwave
Break the chocolate into smaller pieces. The chocolate melter holds about 150 grams of chocolate. Put the chocolate melter in the microwave and start it at a maximum of 600 watts.

Depending on your microwave, it may take different amounts of time for the chocolate to melt and it may be a good idea to heat the chocolate for a few minutes at a time. Check the chocolate from time to time and continue if necessary. Use a potholder when removing the chocolate melter from the microwave.

Material
The melting pot is made of food-grade silicone that does not impart or absorb taste or odour. The chocolate melter can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to +230 °C. This means that you can use the chocolate melter in a microwave or conventional oven as well as in a water bath. The chocolate melter can be stored in the fridge and freezer.
