- Iron tray for tea lights and pillar candles
- Stands on three felt-covered feet
- Handicraft forging from Våges smithy
Beautiful black iron candle tray, great for setting lit pillar candles and tea lights safely on it. The round candle tray has a low edge and stands on three felt-covered feet. Air can flow under the candle tray, so it won't get too hot when the candles burn down.
The candleholder is about 24.5 cm in diameter and about 1.5 cm tall. The tray weighs about 600 grams and stands firmly on the table with felt-covered feet.
The candle tray is designed by Emelie Nilsson and forged in Småland by Våges smide.Tips! If you want to place a candle on the candle tray, you can use the tea light adapter for candles product which you can buy here->
Cleaning wax from the candle tray
Start by gently removing loose candle wax from the tray with a wooden or plastic tool - do not scrape. Place the candleholder upside down on an aluminium foil-covered plate. Pad the candle tray with a few pieces of cork or wooden blocks so that it is raised by a few centimetres from the sheet. Place the tray in the oven (NOTE: NOT A GAS OVEN) at about 90-100°C for around 15 minutes. When all the candle wax has run off the candle tray, wipe it dry with a cloth or some paper towels.
