The Kattvik candlestick is a beautiful hurricane candle holder that protects the flame from the wind. The lovely candlestick doesn't take up much space on the table and looks magical on outdoor evenings on your terrace, patio, balcony or boat.
The hurricane candle holder has a heavy and stable base that keeps the candle upright even if it is windy. The smart air holes in the bottom ensure that the candle gets oxygen and burns without making the glass dirty.
The beautiful glass cylinder surrounds the candle and protects the flame from the wind. The flame is reflected in the glass and creates a cosy atmosphere. The glass also minimises the risk of fire as the flame is protected from its surroundings and any curious pets.
The candle holder can be used both indoors and outdoors all year round. However, the glass does not protect against rain, so bring the candlestick in if it is raining or snowing heavily.

Which candles fit in the foot?
Candles should be 20 cm to 22 cm long and 23 mm in diameter. You can buy candles from a supermarket or a specialist candle shop to fit in the candlestick.Care instructions
The glass cylinder is easy to clean and can be washed in the dishwasher.The foot should not be washed in the dishwasher. If wax sticks to the foot pour hot water on it to clean it. The heat will melt the wax and it will slide off the foot. Dry the candlestick immediately. NB! Use a cloth to move the foot after you have washed it as it might still be hot.
The idea for the Kattvik candlestick was born at a picnic ®
Kattvik is an old fishing village located between Båstad and Torekov. It is a quiet place in North-West Skåne in Southern Sweden close to the sea which has inspired the Rösth family's great interest in interior design.The idea for Kattviksljusstaken® was born at an almost perfect picnic in Kattvik's harbour. The food was delicious and the drinks were cold but the candle in the candlestick kept being blown out by the evening breeze.
The stylish candlestick was designed by Paul Rösth and made from clever hurricane glass so the flame stays lit in all seasons, whether it's windy or not. The candlestick became very popular and is sold today in Scandinavia, Europe and the USA.
