These reusable sanitary pads are made of 100% ecological cotton that lets the skin breathe and provides natural and comfortable protection during the day and at night. The fabric pads have been tested to ensure they can withstand 200 washes and are a more environmentally friendly and economically sound option than single-use pads.
The fabric sanitary pads have the same absorption capacity as single-use pads so that you can feel confident at all times. The sanitary pads are easy to use and the ecological cotton is very breathable. The pads are easy to attach around your underwear and can be changed even if you aren't at home.
The thin fabric pad is kept in place with a button that is fastened around your underwear. Place the smooth side of the pad against your underwear and use the button on the wings to secure it. When it is time to change your pad, simply undo the button, fold the pad up into a small package and then use the button again to ensure the pad doesn't unfold itself.
Used sanitary pads can be machine-washed at 60 degrees. To avoid the blood discolouring other items in the wash, rinse the sanitary pads in cold water and allow them to dry before washing them. You can also let them soak in cold water with a bit of salt for 24 hours before washing them. Note! It's a good idea to machine-wash the pads before using them for the first time, as this improves their absorption capacity.
The fabric pads are made of 100% ecological cotton and are reinforced with a layer of polyurethane laminated polyester to prevent leakage. The Swedish company ImseVimse has been developing environmentally friendly products for women and children since 1988. The sanitary pads are are classed as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1, which is the strictest standard for fabrics and ensures that the pads are gentle on both your skin and the environment.
The pads come in two different sizes, Day pads and Night pads
Dimensions Day pads: 25 cm x 20.5 cm
Dimensions Night pads: 33 cm x 20.5 cm
The day pads are great for when your period is medium-heavy, if you suffer from light incontinence, or if you tend to use regular-sized single-use pads.
The night pads have a greater absorption capacity and are useful when your period is heavy, after childbirth or if you suffer from more severe incontinence.
