With an electric wine aerator, you can aerate wine directly in a bottle or wine glass in a controlled way. The wine aerator reduces aeration time from an hour to 45 seconds and is perfect if you have more guests or don't have time to decant the wine.
Aerate the wine in the bottle
The narrow metal bar of the electric wine aerator allows you to stick the wine aerator down and aerate the wine directly into the bottle. When you start the wine aerator, it gently adds air bubbles to the wine for 45 seconds. At the end of the time, the wine has sufficient air and the wine aerator switches off automatically.
Carefully designed
The patented wine aerator reaches about halfway down the bottle. This is deliberately designed so that any precipitate is not stirred up from the bottom when the air bubbles are added.
Aerate wine in the glass
If you don't want to aerate the whole bottle at once, you can instead pour the wine and aerate it directly into the wine glass. You can manually control how long you want to aerate the wine by starting and stopping the wine aerator with the button on the top.
Battery powered wine aerator
The electric wine aerator is powered by 2 AAA batteries (not included). Unscrew the top part of the handle to access the battery cover and insert the batteries according to the polarity description (+ and -). With one set of batteries you can aerate over 230 bottles.
Good to know
-The time (45 seconds) is optimised for most red and white wines. But consult a wine expert if you have an older red wine bottle that you are unsure how long it should aerate.
- Once you have assembled the narrow metal bar with the handle, it is recommended that they remain together.
- To clean the wine aerator, plunge it into a glass of water and run the motor one full cycle.
