- Make buttons easier to fasten with one hand
- Hook for zips at the back
- Fits buttons up to about 1 cm in diameter
The Vitility Button Fastener makes it a little easier to fasten your shirt buttons if you have pain or difficulty using one arm. The thick grooved handle provides a good grip and allows you to easily retrieve and fasten the buttons with just one hand.
How to fasten the buttons
Pass the metal part of the button fastener through the button hole and retrieve the button. Pull the button fastener back through the hole, then angle the button fastener down and around so that the entire button is threaded through the hole.
Stand in front of the mirror to begin with
A good tip is to stand in front of the mirror the first few times you use the fastener. This makes it easier to see what you're doing, especially when you're buttoning the top shirt buttons.
Works on a wide range of garments
The button fastener can be used on many shirts, blouses and many other garments. The appropriate maximum button size is about 1 cm in diameter. The button fastener can also work with larger buttons, but then you need to use two hands to thread the button onto the button fastener. The smallest buttons that can be used with the button fastener should be at least about 0.4 cm in diameter.
Hook for zips
The hook at the back of the handle can be used to open and close zips. Insert the hook into the loop on the zip and pull the zip up or down.
