- Radio and siren
- Torch
- Dynamo crank
This wind up torch is jam-packed with clever features that come in handy when you don't have access to electricity. In addition to the steady and flashing light, the torch is also equipped with a loud siren, a powerbank, and an AM/FM radio.
The dynamo crank enables you to charge the torch even if there is a power outage. Wind the crank at about 120 to 180 times per minute (two to three times per second) to charge the battery. The torch can also be charged using the included micro USB cable if you have access to electricity or a charged powerbank.
The built-in radio receiver automatically connects to the local radio stations with the best coverage. Choose between AM or FM and listen to the broadcast through the mini-speaker.
The torch casts a white light. Switch between turning the torch off and on and a steady or flashing beam by pressing the light button repeatedly. The torch also has a loud siren that can be used to let people nearby know your position. Hold the light button down for about two seconds to turn the siren on. Hold the button down again to turn the siren off again.
The rechargeable battery can also be used as a powerbank for your phone or other rechargeable devices. The battery is powerful enough to bring a USB device back to life and give its battery a basic charge. And you can always keep the torch's battery charged by turning the dynamo crank.
Despite its many features, the torch is not large. It weighs a mere 150 grams and is comfortable to hold. There is a small loop attached to it so that you can secure it around your wrist to avoid dropping it.
