With the scanner for slides and negatives from Veho, you can resurrect your old photos and download them to a digital format. The scanner allows you to transfer your slides and negatives directly to a memory card (not included), and then edit, archive, and share the photos with your family and friends.

The scanner is compatible with four different formats: slides 135 and negatives 135, 110, 126. Frames for all the formats are included that makes the scanning easy once the negatives are inserted into the frame. The scanned images are automatically saved onto a SD-card (not included) and becomes sharp, digital, images that you can then transfer to your computer.

How long does it take to scan the images?
The scanning process is quick, approx. 2 seconds per image, and you can pre-view the image in the small digital LCD-display before saving it. You can also connect the scanner to any TV with a compatible AV-outlet and get a bigger screen to pre-view the images on (cord included).

The photo scanner saves the images in a high-res format, 14 MP/3200 dpi, and has built-in auto exposure, colour balance, and other image-improving functions to enhance the image.

Portable scanning
The scanner is powered by the rechargeable battery. That makes the scanner portable and easy to bring along so you can sit in a comfortable spot while scanning your images. When the battery needs to be charged, you can connect it to any USB-outlet with the included USB-cable and charge the battery. The scanner can be used while charging.

Transfer the images to your computer
Once you have saved the images to the SD-card, you can transfer them to your computer. If your computer has a built-in SD-reader you can place the card in your computer. Otherwise, you can use a suitable reader for SD-cards.

Since you are downloading the images to a SD-card, the scanner is compatible with both PC and Mac. The scanner has support for up to a 32GB SEHC (class 10) card (not included).

*Compatible SD-cards
The scanner supports SD-cards up to 32GB SDHC. Use a class 10 card, but not higher than class 10. SD and SDHC cards are compatible.

Make sure that the card is formatted before use (do not forget to back up all data on the card before formatting it).
Always use an SD-card from a well-known brand for safety reasons.

Non-compatible SD-cards: SDXC, SDUC and high-speed cards like SD U2, U3, V30.
Micro SD-card in an adapter does not work.
