Make one or more ice lanterns and have lovely ornaments in your garden, on your patio or balcony. The ice lanterns heighten the atmosphere and make the outdoor environment beautifully decorated. Fill the star shaped ice form with water and place in the freezer. After 2 or 3 hours the star is frozen solid. Place a candle in the groove in the middle and light it for a lovely evening outside!

The speed at which this star melts depends entirely on the temperature outside combined with where you put the sculpture. If you want to be extra creative you can add colour to the water before you put it in the freezer.
