This reusable capsule is a replacement for Nespresso single use aluminium capsules. This fantastic barista set has everything you need to make the perfect espresso. You can make espresso quickly and easily in your Nespresso machine with this coffee capsule, holder and tamper.
Use shop-bought ground coffee or grind the beans yourself in a coffee grinder. Use the fine or extra fine grinder setting. The enclosed coffee sample gives you an idea of the texture you need to make a great espresso. Try out different grinder settings to find the ideal setting for your favourite coffee beans.
Pack the finely ground coffee tightly into the capsule with the tamper and screw the lid on. Use the capsule in the Nespresso machine as you normally would. Then enjoy your freshly brewed espresso or lungo!
The coffee capsule fits all standard Nespresso machines with 3-pin capsules manufactured from 2003 onwards. Not suitable for Nespresso machines made before 2003 with 1 pin capsules. Nespresso machines vary slightly in their designs and if the machine has a grooved inner cylinder you should attach one of the enclosed silicon rings to the capsule. If it's hard to see what you're doing, disconnect the power and feel with your fingers when you open the capsule lid. You don't need to use the silicon ring if the cylinder is smooth.
The capsule gets hot when you're using it, so let it cool before cleaning. Dispose of the coffee grounds as food waste and wash out the capsule with cold or warm water. Do not use soap or washing up liquid.
