Skosh are small, eco-friendly cleaning tablets that dissolve easily in water. After a few minutes, the water will have been transformed into an effective cleaning fluid that's ready to use as is! The non-toxic, vegan and 100% biodegradable cleaning tablets come in a 3-pack, which is enough to make 1.5 litres of cleaning solution.
These environmentally smart cleaning tablets mean that you don't have to buy products in plastic packaging every time you need to clean the house. Instead, just dissolve the tablets in a spray bottle you already have at home. By using Skosh tablets, you're actively contributing to reducing plastic waste, and you avoid lugging heavy bottles of cleaning fluid from the supermarket, which in any case, consist mainly of water, which you can just get at home!
Fill the spray bottle with 500 ml of warm tap water and drop a tablet in. After about 5 minutes (or when the tablet is completely dissolved), you can start spraying the fluid and cleaning surfaces. The cleaner remains effective for at least 6 months after you dissolve the tablet in water.
The recommended amount is 1 tablet per 500 ml of water, which means it's also possible to dissolve 2 tablets in 1 litre, and so on. If you want a more concentrated liquid, you can dissolve 1 tablet in 400 or 300 ml of water.
Skosh cleaning tablets are available in three different versions that are adapted to each area of use. They can also be purchased in a mixed variety pack, which includes one of each version of the tablets. Each pack contains 3 tablets, which is enough to make 1.5 litres of cleaner.
The cleaning tablets are made of non-toxic, food-approved and biodegradable ingredients that are gentle on the environment. The active substances are food-grade citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, anionic surfactants, salts, essential oils and dye. To make the finished product as effective as possible, the tablets have different pH values that are specifically adapted to each area of use.
Bathroom (3-pack)
These bathroom tablets have a lower pH value to effectively remove limescale and water stains. Perfect for toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers and bathroom tiles (porcelain and glazed ceramic). The tablets have a fresh citrus scent.
WARNING! Bathroom tablets should NOT be used on marble, natural stone or wood.
Multi-surface (3-pack)
These multi-surface tablets have a higher pH value and effectively dissolve grease and oil on sinks (granite, laminate, Corian and Formica), hobs, cooker hoods, tiles, sinks, stainless steel and barbecues. The cleaning spray leaves a floral scent.
WARNING! Multi-surface tablets should NOT be used on marble, natural stone or wood.
Glass (3-pack)
The pH value of these tablets is between that of the multi-purpose and bathroom tablets. The cleaner gives windows, glass surfaces and mirrors a streak-free shine. Leaves a scent like that of a refreshing sea breeze.
WARNING! Glass tablets should NOT be used on marble, natural stone or wood.
Mixed variety pack (3-pack)
This mixed variety pack contains one of each version of the tablets of each variety, that is, one Bathroom, Multi-surface and Glass tablet. No tablet should be used on marble, natural stone or wood.
Skosh cleaning tablets are light, take up very little space during transport and are delivered in a recyclable paper bag. By adding the tablets to water, you can stop using disposable plastic packaging and instead reuse plastic bottles you already have at home. When you use Skosh cleaning tablets, you're actively contributing to reducing the consumption of single-use plastic packaging.
Tips! If you already have a spray bottle at home, just start using Skosh at once. If you don't, you can buy a starter kit with 2 cleaning tablets and Skosh's own spray bottle, made from recycled plastic. You'll find the starter kit here: Skosh cleaning kit ->
Skosh - invented by students!
The Skosh company was established by students Max, Tom and Simon as a result of an innovation competition at Lund University in Sweden. The aim of the competition was to come up with an idea that contributes to reducing plastic waste and consumption of disposable plastic bottles around the world.
The three students knew that household cleaning products are a big part of the problem. Not only does the single-use packaging contribute to plastic waste, but also the products themselves take up unnecessary amounts of space and weigh too much during transport. It's crazy to think that the main ingredient of cleaning sprays, water, is something we all already have in our taps at home!
