The popular Otto soap pump is now also available in a foam pump version that turns liquid hand soap or hand sanitiser into a soft foam. The automatic foam pump has a non-contact sensor that detects when you put your hand under the pump, and the soap setting lets you choose whether you want more or less soap foam.
With the foam pump, you use less soap more efficiently and can reduce your soap consumption. The foam pump is equipped with a drip-free nozzle that prevents unwanted spills on the sink, and you don't have to touch the pump to get soap on your hands.
Make foam from hand soap or hand sanitiser
Unscrew the soap container under the pump and pour in 1 part hand soap and 5 parts water. Gently swirl the container until the contents are mixed. You can also use 1 part hand sanitiser and 5 parts water if you want a foam of hand sanitiser instead. You can use the refill lines on the side of the soap container.
The soap dispenser has a large opening that makes it easier to refill the soap. The transparent sides make it easy to keep track of the soap level and also make it nice to look at if you use a coloured hand soap.
Economical soap setting
The foam pump has two different modes where you can choose whether you want more or less foam soap on your hand. When you start the soap pump, press and hold the ON button for about 2 seconds. To switch between the normal and the more generous mode, press the ON button briefly. To switch off the foam pump, press and hold the ON button for about 2 seconds.
Powered by batteries
The pump is powered by 4 AAA batteries (not included). The batteries are inserted under the flap at the top of the soap pump. Unscrew and remove the entire battery cover, insert the batteries and replace the battery cover. Use only alkaline batteries (not rechargeable).
Battery indicator
The LED light under the nozzle lights up and glows blue when you put your hand under the soap pump. If it turns red, you know it's time to change the batteries.
Important to know
Use only hand soap without particles. If you use hand sanitiser, use only low-viscosity hand sanitizer, not alcogel. Always switch off the soap pump if you are changing batteries, moving it or wiping it with a damp cloth.
