Flies and wasps are drawn to different types of attractant, so fill the container with a sweet bait, like juice or syrup, to catch the wasps. Fill the container with sweet 'n sour mixture of vinegar, juice and wine for flies. Add a drop of dish soap when it is filled to finish the bait.
