- Frightens with high frequency sounds
- Motion sensor
- Solar powered
Seagulls are fascinating animals but at the same time they tend to defecate everywhere. Balconies, boat covers, jetties and rooftops are always difficult to keep clean, but with a scarecrow you can scare away the birds. The high frequency sounds it emits are unpleasant for seagulls, keeping them away and your surfaces clear from discharge.
The bird scarecrow features a motion sensor that can detect movements at a 125 degree angle on either side of the scarecrow and 75 degrees up/down all up to 20 metres away. When the sensor is activated, the device will produce a high frequency sound, scaring any birds away.
The scarecrow is designed to scare away birds, but other unwelcome animals that have the habit of greeting at gardens and balconies will also be agitated by the sound.
The scarecrow can be easily mounted with screws and attaches with ease to walls, trees, posts or fences. Be sure to mount the device so that nothing obstructs the sensor. You should also place it somewhere that the solar panels can absorb a decent amount of sunlight.
The solar panel on top of the device recharges the three AA batteries (included in the package) to ensure that the scarecrow is always charged. Tip! Make sure the batteries are recharged at least once every three months to maximize their lifespan.
