Peel the ginger with the sharp knife blade and then grate or slice the ginger directly into the container. The grater also has a practical groove that makes it easy to squeeze the juice out of the ginger directly into a glass. The ginger can then be stored in the container and stays fresh longer.
The storage box can also be used to store other vegetables, herbs and fruits. It extends shelf life and stops bad smells getting in.
