Lurep is a clever little box that is mounted on a fishing rod. You can pack away your hook quickly when you need to go to the next fishing spot. Lurep is a Swedish innovation, made in Sweden, that protects the rod and line from sharp hooks that can get caught on things.
The hook is protected inside the box and doesn't need to be attached to the fishing rod when you're in the car or boat or walking through thorny bushes and reeds. Lurep has a ventilation hole on each side of the box that allows the air to flow through and dry the hook. If the hook is larger it can stick out of the ventilation holes.
Lurep has room for 100 mm hooks. If you are fishing with a longer hook you can keep a small extra hook in the box.
The Lurep is mounted on the rod with two Velcro straps and doesn't get in the way when you're fishing. An ergonomic box with the ventilation holes on both sides that is easy use for right or left handed fishermen or women.
Lurep fits most fishing rods on the market and can stay attached to the rod. Lurep weighs only 27 grams and is designed for hooks up to 100 mm long and 30 mm wide.
